Exide Edge FP-AGML4/94R Flat Plate AGM Sealed Automotive Battery

Exide Edge AGM batteries are designed to maximize energy capacity for today’s on-the-go drivers. The Edge’s lasting energy protects against battery failure, helping vehicle batteries stay strong and perform like new longer. Exide Edge flat plate design contains 6 sets of plates, with glass mat separators, arranged in a straight line inside the battery, like sliced bread. SureLife Graphite Technology retains initial capacity longer for lasting energy capacity.

  • Because the plates are compressed in rows, the battery uses its total volume to provide greater energy capacity
  • Handles heavy key-on, key-off activity
  • Higher vibration resistance for decreased damage and corrosion, claims made versus conventional flooded batteries
  • Clean, safe, non-spillable, maintenance free, absorbed glass construction, under normal operating conditions
  • Easy to install, even on its side, inverted not recommended

1 review for Exide Edge FP-AGML4/94R Flat Plate AGM Sealed Automotive Battery

  1. Battery Shop

The battery died on my 2002 Boxster S so I hit the Friendly Local Auto Parts only to find that the battery I needed was not in stock. I wanted an AGM battery because they can take multiple charges and deep discharges without failing. I Googled my choices and up popped With prime service I found the battery well packed on my doorstep 2 days later. A 10mm wrench to loosen the cable clamps, a 13 mm socket to loosen the battery hold down clamp and lift the battery out. What could be easier? I did need my anti theft radio code to get the radio to play again. Luckily the card was handy in the owners manual. I did not even loose the per-programmed stations on the radio. The engine idled rough after starting the car with the new battery because the ECU had lost its settings. I drove the car on the highway for about 20 miles to re-train the ECU and all is well since then. The car starter turns faster and the engine starts sooner. I should have done this six months ago. My last battery was 3-1/2 years old and was the standard BOSCH 48-690B. The L4/94R (H7) is slightly shorter but fits well in the front trunk and is rated at 800 CCA instead of 690 CCA hence the faster starts. The Exide even had the vent tube adapter on the right side of the battery. Thanks Amazon for coming through again!
